Health and Wellness Talks

As a service to communities local to the clinics where Dr Mueller is currently working, he offers health talks on topics ranging from general health and wellness, workplace ergonomics, risk management and back health, to specifics such as the effects of excessive caffeine intake, ergogenic aids, core stability and many more topics.

From pre-prepared lectures, to topics designed specifically to your group, or small business Dr. Mueller uses these opportunities to educate individuals and groups on a wide range of health related topics.

One example of customized lectures was a series delivered in the summer of 2005 and 2006 to up and coming competitive figure skaters from across Ontario as part of the provincial skater development program offered by Skate Ontario.  For more information on Dr. Mueller's skating background please click here.   His background in the national teams program as a competitor coupled to his healthcare education, and his research experience on skating injuries in Central Ontario.  Other prepared lectures for sports groups include female athlete triad, running injuries, gymnastics injuries, overtraining syndrome, and delayed onset muscle soreness.

For small businesses, lectures such as one entitled "Proactive Health Care" is designed to educate individuals on managing the stressors of daily life using skills such as integrating microbreaks and simple stretches into their daily routine.
